As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I can confidently say that South Beverly Grill is a must-visit for those who appreciate fine dining and exceptional service. I personally enjoyed the seafood dishes here, which were fresh and expertly prepared. Overall, my experience at South Beverly Grill was delightful, and I highly recommend checking it out for yourself.

South Beverly Grill is a classic LA staple except it is always busy. The lighting is not great at night, however, the service is fast. All of the staff are excellent. The menu is kind of all over the place with sushi and American Classics to fresh fish so expect everything from spicy tuna rolls to green brussels sprouts and spinach artichoke dip. Typical price point for LA I would say a really reliable restaurant. You know what you're going to get every single time but I would not say it's phenomenal. I would not say it's a must go to that being said the salmon grapefruit salad was really fresh and but it was not like an all-time favorite salad. This is a good place to go if you're looking for a sit down place in a convenient area with quick service but not super fine fancy or anything knock your socks off. I would give it an eight out of 10.

Heard this is one of the best fried chicken sandwiches in town, so had to try. It was good but not the best in town. The chicken itself was a bit big with the breading falling off, so it made it hard to eat. However, if you're talking "best in town" I would give that award to their Emerald Kale Salad. I was unsure how peanut dressing and Parmesan cheese would go together but somehow it worked very well. It was simple but excellent! The fries were also great. Ambience had a dark but classy vibe and service was solid.

I have been trying to come here for almost 2 years and was finally able to secure a weekday reservation for a client lunch. The wait was worth it. Food: wow, so tasty! We ordered the Thai Tuna Roll and Coconut Shrimp Roll to share. These were a pleasant surprise! Such unique combinations of both flavor and texture. Individually, we all had the Emerald Kale & Rotisserie Chicken salad. They prepared the kale very nicely and had a TON of juicy chicken. I was surprised by the amount of protein - worth ordering. Service: very friendly staff at the door and at the table Ambiance: very dark, kinda loud, tight seating (only reason for the docked star). Definitely a more intimate experience and would be better for a date night than a work lunch.

I gratefully accepted this extravagant gift from a dear friend. What a treat, starting with the best Cosmo I ever had. They had an hour wait, so we took the opportunity to order Cosmos at the bar. We watched the bartender adeptly finish this gorgeous Cosmo with an orange zest and it tasted as brilliant as it looked. It was a Friday night so we ended up taking first available, which turned out to be at the bar. At South Beverly Grill, no seat could be bad and service is stellar from hosts to bar to table. All made us feel like VIPs! We were starving and wanted everything on the menu when we got caught looking at what was in front of the lady a few seats down. She smiled and we asked if it's as good as it looks. She had the Seared Ahi and Kale Salad. We're glad we asked and took her recommendation! The Kale salad was tossed with fresh herbs and a roasted peanut vinaigrette, according to the menu. It was all that and everything more, the perfect compliment to each bite of this decadent Seared Ahi. How does a chef know how to create these masterpieces?!?! But wait... Next up, we shared a "slow-cooked rotisserie chicken" with "crushed herbs", heavenly, tender, juicy and aromatic WITH... (cue the trumpets) an apricot glaze! Your taste buds exclaim, "Are we in heaven?" The tabbouleh with the succulent chicken was another perfect answer to every delectable bite. It's the morning after and all I can think of is sad that I didn't have any left for breakfast, but maybe someone will take me back for my birthday! ;)

This is, as expected in Beverly Hills, a beautiful, elegant restaurant. I strongly recommend reservations. From the moment you arrive at the valet stand, you are warmly and courteously welcomed. We were there for lunch, with friends visiting from overseas. Shania, our waitress, and the entire team were most attentive, providing excellent service. Every dish was reported, around the table, to be delicious! Our entire experience was A+

It's been a few years since I've ate at South Beverly Grill, and the food remains great. Inside has dim lights with booth and table top seating. Finding parking can be a challenge so pad in 10 mins to your trip. There's meters outside and neighboring streets have 1 hour parking (make sure to read all signs) but it gets pretty busy on the weekends. There's also a Public Parking lot off S Beverly Drive on the same side as a Newspaper stand. It's 2 hours free parking before 6p

South Beverly Grill holds a special place in my heart as one of my top dining destinations, offering consistently exceptional cuisine and service that never fail to impress. During our recent visit, we had the pleasure of being attended to by Martha, a bartender whose kindness, thoughtfulness, and mastery of mixology added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evening. It is always a warm and inviting atmosphere with a fun crowd. Each dish at South Beverly Grill is a masterpiece in its own right, starting with the Spinach Dip, a creamy indulgence that sets the gold standard for comfort food. The Coconut Shrimp Roll delights with its satisfying crunch and subtle sweetness, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to using only the freshest ingredients. The BBQ Ribs are a carnivore's dream, boasting meaty perfection and a flavor profile that leaves taste buds dancing with joy. As for the French Dip, its juicy, delectable meat is a testament to the kitchen's dedication to excellence. No meal at South Beverly Grill is complete without indulging in their Key Lime Pie, a harmonious blend of tartness and sweetness that never fails to leave a lasting impression. Despite the inevitable wait for a table, the experience at South Beverly Grill is always worth it. This neighborhood gem not only delivers exceptional cuisine but also exudes a sense of warmth and familiarity that keeps patrons like myself coming back time and time again.

I have been a loyal patron of South Beverly Grill for years, and with each visit, I continue to be impressed. The quality of the food is consistently excellent, and the service is top-notch. On my recent visit, I ordered the cheeseburger, Caesar salad, and spinach artichoke dip, all of which were delicious. The burger was perfectly cooked, the salad fresh and flavorful with amazing croutons, and the spinach artichoke dip is always a must. The ambiance of the restaurant is also great, making it the perfect spot for a casual yet upscale dining experience. What I like about this place is that they don't have very special dishes, they do classic dishes and do them very very well. I highly recommend South Beverly Grill to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a welcoming environment.
